In July 2009, the Training Department within Border Express became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 91515). Since this time we have developed a comprehensive training program which has been utilised within a National Transport Company. This company has recently been recognised for its commitment to the training of its staff by receiving a finalist nomination in the NSW Training Awards 2011 (Large Employer of the Year).
BE Logistics Training head office is located in Albury NSW. We have qualified Workplace Trainers and Assessors (WTA) who are located at all capital cities except Hobart, Canberra and Darwin. All of the RTO staff have significant industry knowledge and continue to develop their knowledge and industry skills by keeping up to date with all relevant legislative requirements associated with transport and logistics across their relevant state. The years of experience has allowed BE Logistics Training to develop very effective and efficient training programs to suit industry requirements with a training focus that is second to none.
Our national training programs incorporate both operational and administrative functions. The programs are designed and developed from the Transport and Logistic Training Package and are the foundation for providing staff with “trade” like qualifications.
This training scheme has become the Industry standard for many companies across Australia and provides staff with qualifications that are nationally recognised. The training that we provide and the qualifications will be dependant on what role employees perform within your organisation. Currently we are able to train and assess in;
- Warehousing Operations,
- Driving Operations, and
- Logistics.
These qualifications are nationally recognised and are compliant with the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisation (SNR) along with the relevant Australian Standards & Regulations. The SNR is the national set of standards which assures nationally consistent, high quality training and assessment services.
To ensure compliance against these standards, all NVR Registered Training Organisations are required to audited against each element of the standards. BE Logistics Training was last audited in February 2011. The results of this audit can be viewed here.
On a annual basis, all RTOs are to report on Competency Completion Quality Indicators and Learner and Employer Survey Report. These reports include the following information (to view any of these reports, select the relevant report number):

BE Logistics Training has also developed a Code of Practice. This code of practice details how we will meet the requirements of the national standards for registration. This Code can be viewed here.
